Contributing to promoting the communication of social organizations through the training of young people
For the fifth consecutive year, the LLYC Foundation collaborates with IE University (Madrid) in the Storytelling for Social Impact project. The students of the Master’s Degree in Visual and Digital Media are trained by LLYCERS to develop real communication campaigns for local foundations selected by the LLYC Foundation.
This edition ends with the participation of 55 international students, who have contributed their knowledge and desire to contribute to improving the visibility and communication objectives of five social entities: MapaAyuda, Pan y Peces, Fundación Pequeños Pasos, Bokatas, and Asociación AAQUA.
We would like to thank Julio Alonso, Guillermo Lecumberri, Cristina Peñaloza, and former LLYCER, Carlota Jiménez, for sharing their knowledge as teachers during this 2021-2022 academic year. Their role has been essential in providing students with the necessary tools and resources to contribute with an awareness campaign that generates value for NGOs.
The project by the team of students who worked for the Bokatas organization was selected as the winner. A campaign that seeks to make homeless people more visible, making the people of Madrid aware of the change that can be generated with a hello or a wave and a positive message, under the message “A wave of change”.
This Storytelling for Social Impact project strengthens our commitment to education; but, mainly, it adds value to social entities that amplify their impact through communication and storytelling.
