To raise awareness of what multiple sclerosis is and how it affects people living with it
The project consisted of creating the first Multiple Sclerosis computer: the IEM. With the collaboration of a technological partner, Impossible CP, we created the computer free of charge. This computer was like a conventional computer built with wires affected by the same problems as the neurons of a person with Multiple Sclerosis. Because of this the computer reflects the same symptoms as a Multiple Sclerosis sufferer: mouse paralysis, blurred vision, clicking opens another tool, etc.
To raise awareness of the IEM, an event was held during the International Multiple Sclerosis Day. Volunteers from the LLYC Foundation organised and planned the event, and created materials and audiovisual identity. In addition to the computer, a website was created so that users can reproduce the effects of MSI at home and obtain more detailed information about the disease and its symptoms.
