The Foundation wraps up 2022 by spreading joy through solidarity initiatives

Contributions from each office: Argentina In Buenos Aires, 43 volunteers collected toys, clothing, food, and books to support Amigos en la Calle, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness. Barcelona For the second consecutive year, volunteers from Barcelona participated in the Banco de Alimentos initiative, donating food to be distributed by social organizations to vulnerable individuals. Brazil Volunteers in Brazil donated 80 food baskets to the community of Parque Miami in Santo André, where residents face extreme poverty. Chile In Chile, volunteers provided toys for 29 children with disabilities or histories of abuse, supported by Fundación Coanil’s severe abuse reparation program. Colombia Volunteers in Colombia distributed hygiene kits to women at Fundación Acción Interna, an organization supporting incarcerated women at Bogotá’s La Modelo prison. Ecuador In Quito, Ecuador, volunteers donated warm clothing, food, and kitchen supplies to Fundación Abuelitos de la Calle, which supports elderly individuals living in extreme poverty. Madrid Senior volunteers in Madrid became the Three Wise Men, granting holiday wishes to children from Fundación Soñar Despiertos. Junior volunteers conducted a creativity workshop for 20 youths at Fundación Capacis, which concluded with an impactful session on workplace empathy led by the foundation. Mexico Volunteers in Mexico donated toys and warm clothing to Contagiando Voluntad, spreading comfort and cheer. Panama Volunteers visited patients at the National Oncology Institute for the second year, providing healthy snacks and warm clothing. Additionally, they donated food and clothing to Fundación Dreams Panamá. Lisbon In Lisbon, 35 volunteers donated baby supplies, nonperishable food, and milk to Ajuda de Berço, a local nonprofit. US In Miami, volunteers supported Lotus House, a shelter for vulnerable women and youth, by delivering essential supplies. Thank you to all the volunteers who devoted their time and effort to make a positive impact. |
Impact
In 2022, 210 volunteers from across our 12 offices joined forces with 13 social organizations, donating essential items such as food, toys, clothing, school supplies, and more. Together, they brought happiness and hope to those who need it most.
