We Spread Joy Through Our Year-End Initiatives

Objective

Helping vulnerable groups through donation campaigns.

Solution

In December, our volunteers engaged in solidarity projects to assist those in need and spread joy around the world.

Argentina

Forty-six volunteers from the Buenos Aires office of the José Antonio Llorente Foundation collaborated with the Asociación Pequeño Hogar Exaltación, donating toys, clothing, and school kits.

Brazil

In São Paulo, 24 volunteers partnered with the Associação Comunidade de Xurupita to donate food baskets to 70 families.

Spain

Volunteers from the Madrid office collected food in partnership with Ayuda a quien ayuda, which supports 72 religious and nonreligious social action centers. In Barcelona, 50 volunteers joined the Banco de Alimentos solidarity initiative, donating over 84 kilograms of food. Additionally, our APACHE volunteers, in collaboration with Fundación Soñar Despierto, participated in a gift donation initiative to fulfill Christmas wishes for children.

Mexico

Twenty-four volunteers from the Mexico City and BESO offices distributed over 100 gifts to young people from the most vulnerable communities, thanks to the “Reyes Magos” initiative by Contagiando Voluntad, which assists children and people with disabilities.

Panama

In Panama, 15 Foundation volunteers spent a morning with patients at the National Oncology Institute, distributing healthy breakfasts and warm clothing.

Lisbon

In Lisbon, 28 volunteers helped spread joy during the holidays by sending gifts to children from the Associação Kêle in São Tomé. Our volunteer, Joana Jorge, traveled there personally to deliver a big bag full of surprises.

US

In Miami, our volunteers cooperated with Feeding South Florida during Thanksgiving by collecting food donations for families in need.

Impact

213 LLYC volunteers have supported individuals in vulnerable situations through donations in seven countries where we operate.
