Solution

For the fourth consecutive year, December saw the launch of solidarity campaigns that invited the LLYC team to engage in social actions and awaken their spirit of giving.

See how each office contributed:

Argentina 

The Buenos Aires office gathered food donations for Amigos En la Calle, an organization that supports families facing homelessness.

Brazil 

Volunteers in Brazil provided essential items to 44 elderly residents of La Evangélica de Amparo, a nursing home in Santos on São Paulo’s coast.

Barcelona

In Barcelona, 14 volunteers stepped into the Reyes Magos’s (Three Kings) shoes, fulfilling the holiday wishes of children from the Fundación Soñar Despiertos.

Chile 

Chilean volunteers hosted a special movie screening for 60 children with disabilities and survivors of abuse who are part of the Fundación Coanil’s PRM program (Severe Abuse Reparation Program).

Colombia 

The Bogotá office fully embraced the spirit of giving, becoming Reyes Magos for children supported by the Fundación Soñar Despiertos.

Ecuador 

In Ecuador, volunteers gathered non-perishable food, hygiene supplies, and gently used clothing for vulnerable children through Fundación Nuestros Jóvenes.

Madrid

Seventy-four volunteers from the Madrid office brought joy to children from Fundación Soñar Despiertos by fulfilling their holiday wishes. 

Additionally, nine volunteers hosted a creativity workshop for young people from Fundación Capacis.

Mexico

The Mexico office collected toys for Banco de Tapitas, supporting children diagnosed with cancer.

Lisbon 

Fifteen Lisbon volunteers organized a donation drive for hygiene products, food, and clothing for unhoused individuals aided by Comunidade Vida e Paz.

Dominican Republic

In Santo Domingo, volunteers engaged with participants from Academia La Javilla, reflecting on lessons learned through the Voces Futuras program.

Panama

For the third year, Panamanian volunteers supported cancer patients at the Instituto Oncológico Nacional, providing 60 breakfasts.

US

Our Miami office delivered food and hygiene supplies to unhoused individuals through Hermanos de la Calle.

 

Impact

Over 280 volunteers from across our offices partnered with 14 organizations, donating food, toys, clothing, school supplies, and other essential items. Together, we brought joy and hope to more than 500 individuals.
