CAPTA Project
Objective
Empowering women at risk of social exclusion.
Solution
The CAPTA Program by Fundación Calicanto provides women at risk of social exclusion with the tools to transform their lives and communities. Through psycho-emotional training, participants are better prepared to face new challenges with workshops on Emotional Intelligence, Virtual Communication, and Resilience, among others.
To date, CAPTA has certified 50 cohorts, benefiting 1,516 women.
Over two months, Fundación LLYC’s volunteer team in Panama contributed to the program by conducting four online training sessions:
1. Digital Identity for the New Era, by Giuliana Venutolo, Director of Digital and Consumer Engagement at LLYC Panama.
2. Creating a Resume Without Experience Using Canva, by Nelsaryth González, Consultant in Consumer Engagement at LLYC Panama.
3. Job Interview Tips: Making a Strong First Impression, by Manuel Domínguez, Director of LLYC Panama.
4. Boosting Business with Instagram, by Giuliana Venutolo, Director of Digital and Consumer Engagement at LLYC Panama.
This impactful project was met with great enthusiasm from the women who participated, fostering hope and empowerment through Fundación Calicanto’s training programs.
Impact
This initiative supports over 100 Panamanian women, equipping them with emotional and social skills through four online training sessions.
This has been a fantastic opportunity to help. Thanks to the expertise of our volunteers, we have contributed to improving the lives of many women by supporting their education and personal growth.
