Storytelling for Social Impact.
Objective
Supporting the next generation of communication professionals.
Solution
Storytelling for Social Impact has been a flagship project for the past three years, carried out in collaboration with IE University’s Master in Visual and Digital Media. Through this program, student groups design real-world campaigns for resource-constrained foundations selected by Fundación LLYC.
This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering social responsibility among future communication professionals. It also offers master’s students the opportunity to execute a real-life project for a local foundation with guidance from LLYC experts. A special thanks to Ana Folgueira, Elizaveta Duca, Julio Alonso, Alejandro Parilli, Teresa Rey, and our alumnus Alejandro Cerqueira for their involvement in this third edition, steering and mentoring aspiring communicators through the challenges of the 2019/2020 academic year.
Once again, the students poured their energy into these projects, producing extraordinary campaigns for seven social organizations: Asociación Pato Amarillo, Asociación Into Neverland, Fundación Aldaba, Fundación Antares, Fundación CESAL, Soñar Despierto, and Saniclown.
Impact
This initiative brought together 35 international students who channeled their knowledge, motivation, and creativity to enhance the visibility, outreach, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising efforts of seven selected organizations.
This project has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It not only enables us to support the social partners we serve but also allows us to inspire future professionals. They get to see firsthand how impactful communication can be in driving positive change in society.
