Helping youth at Aldeas Infantiles develop soft skills.

During the International Meeting, LLYC partners and directors, alongside more than 150 children from Aldeas Infantiles and INICIA Educación, let their imaginations run wild. Through a creative game, they sought innovative and imaginative solutions to the major challenges our society faces today.

The challenge was based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals promoted by the United Nations to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all by 2030.

Guided by their coaches, the young participants came up with dynamic, fascinating, and original ideas that captivated everyone present. One of the proposed ideas was a pocket-sized device that diagnoses diseases using fingerprints to provide healthcare access to people living in remote areas far from healthcare centers.

This initiative aimed to familiarize young people with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while honing their soft skills and fostering intercultural and intergenerational knowledge exchange.
